Clearview Aviation Corp. is a rapidly growing, boutique private jet charter and aircraft management company specializing in aircraft management and private aviation consulting. We are currently in a transformative growth phase as we evolve into a full-service, vertically integrated Part 91 and Part 135 jet charter operator. As we expand our capabilities and services, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help lead this growth, optimize our operations, and ensure the highest standards of safety, customer service, and efficiency.


Position Overview:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a critical role in leading Clearview Aviation through this exciting growth phase. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring the seamless integration of our new acquisition(s) and development, alongside our existing management, brokerage and consulting services. The COO will manage a broad range of operational areas, including flight operations, fleet management, compliance, safety, customer experience, and business development. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a strategic, results-oriented leader with deep industry knowledge and a proven track record in aviation operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership & Strategy:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the entire company, managing both Part 91 aircraft management and emerging Part 135 charter services.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies that will drive the company’s growth, particularly in transitioning to a fully integrated Part 135 operator.
    • Collaborate with the President to define and execute the company’s short and long-term business and operational strategies.
    • Lead operational improvements, ensuring scalability and efficiency as the company expands.


  • Part 135 Certification & Compliance:
    • Take ownership of the company’s transition to a fully operational Part 135 operator, including overseeing the necessary FAA approvals and compliance requirements.
    • Ensure adherence to all FAA regulations, industry standards, and best practices across both Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
    • Establish and enforce robust safety management systems, risk assessments, and protocols to ensure the highest level of safety across the company’s operations.


  • Fleet Management & Expansion:
    • Oversee the management and expansion of the fleet, ensuring that aircraft are operated safely and efficiently.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance and Chief Pilot to maintain an optimal fleet schedule and preventive maintenance program.
    • Lead efforts to acquire new aircraft and integrate them into the fleet, focusing on fleet optimization and asset management as the company continues expansion.


  • Client & Customer Service Excellence:
    • Ensure Clearview Aviation delivers an exceptional and personalized experience to all clients, both aircraft owners and on-demand charter clients.
    • Manage relationships with high-net-worth clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest standards of service, safety, and privacy.
    • Work closely with the Executive Team to ensure customer satisfaction and promote Clearview’s expanding capabilities.


  • Financial Management & Growth:
    • Oversee the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining profitability across both Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
    • Monitor and analyze key operational and financial metrics to drive decision-making and performance improvements.
    • Identify and implement new revenue streams, ensuring the company’s growth trajectory continues in line with its strategic goals.


  • Team Leadership & Organizational Development:
    • Lead and mentor operational leadership, including flight operations, maintenance, and customer service teams.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring Clearview Aviation’s values of safety, excellence, and integrity are upheld throughout all operations.
    • Develop a scalable organizational structure to accommodate future growth, ensuring Clearview is well-positioned to continue expanding its services.


  • Business Development & Market Expansion:
    • Lead the development of new business opportunities, including identifying complimenting acquisition targets to fuel the calculated growth of Clearview Aviation's core business. 
    • Collaborate with the President and business development team to identify new partnerships, strategic alliances, and revenue opportunities in the private aviation space.
    • Assist in the execution of Clearview’s growth strategy, ensuring smooth integration of new business lines and services.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of Part 91 and Part 135 regulations, safety standards, and operational best practices.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing and scaling aviation operations, particularly in the private jet charter industry.
  • Experience navigating the certification process for Part 135 and managing a transition from Part 91 to Part 135 operations.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence internal teams, clients, and industry stakeholders.
  • Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering personalized, high-quality service.

Pilot – Falcon 6X Captain (PIC)

Join Our Team

Clearview Aviation is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Falcon 6X Captain(s)to join our private aviation team. As a part of a high-performing flight operations department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of our 2025 Falcon 6X aircraft for Part 91 operations and limited Part 135 operations. 


This is a 3-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant, flying Part 91 (250 hours) and Part 135 (100hours) annually. Only applicants with experience in comparable ultra-long-range aircraft are being considered for this position. Preference is given to those that reside in the New York Metro, Long Island New York and South Florida areas. The pilot will work closely with crew members and company management to ensure the smooth running of flight operations while maintaining a high standard of safety and customer service. The initial training class is projected to take place in September 2025.


Qualifications

· FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate

· Previous Comparable Type Rating 

· Flight Time Minimums: 

  • 5,000 hours Total Fixed Wing
  • 2,500 hours of Multi-Engine
  • 2, 000 hours Pilot-in-Command
  • 1,500 hours Turbine 
  • 200 hours Night
  • 5 years Part 91/135 Experience

· Experience: 250 hours PIC in large cabin aircraft within the prior 12 months preferred

· Medical: Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate

· FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit, valid passport, valid State driver’s license

· Must be able to work varying hours including day and night; weekdays, weekends and holidays to accommodate operational needs of the aircraft owner and company. 

· Owner flights are typically scheduled10 days in advance for domestic trips and 30 days in advance of international trips.

· Must be service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and a demonstrated ability to make a positive impression including a strong capability to effectively interact with passengers.

· Must be able to work around animals(dogs), including the handling and care prior to, during and after owner flights.

· International experience familiarity with EASA and non-contiguous U.S. (500 hours as a flight crew member in international flying preferred).

· Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.

· Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.

· Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing if required.

· Strong understanding of Part 91/135 regulations and operational best practices.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on professional passenger service.

· High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.


Key Responsibilities

· Ensure all flights are organized and executed in a safe, efficient and professional manner in accordance with all federal and local regulations and company policies.

· Works closely with maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events and routine tasks are completed i.e., database updates, audits, checklists, pre and post flights.

· Accurate completion of all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.

· Leads flight department crew members to accomplish department goals while contributing to high employee morale.

· Responsible for properly communicating any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies, record all aircraft discrepancies as they occur on the aircraft and immediately report to the DOM as soon as possible. 

· Ensure aircraft is maintained in a safe and operational condition, adhering to maintenance schedules and performing a thorough pre-flight inspection.

· Monitor aircraft systems, identify potential issues and make sound decisions to maintain safety.

· Obtain the most current weather reports, forecasts and NOTAMs from flight service station or other authorized agency along the route and at airports, including alternate airports.

· Collaborate with ground operations and trip support to ensure seamless flight preparations and post-flight activities.

· Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems which they are authorized to operate to include all emergency systems and procedures associated with the aircraft.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FAA regulations, company procedures and best practices.

· Log flight hours, submit reports, and maintain all required records including accurate completion of all trip paperwork in accordance with regulatory standards and current procedures.

· Participate in regular training, safety briefings and recurrent qualifications to maintain proficiency in the Falcon 6X.

· Provides quality service to owners and passengers while identifying opportunities to enhance the Clearview Aviation service offerings and consciously investigate and resolve service deviations.

Responsibilities

  • The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the evaluation, performance, and management of aircraft maintenance
  • Provides professional recommendations associated with maintaining the aircrafts market value and upkeep related to asset management and ensures airworthiness of assigned aircraft
  • The manager also maintains current technical proficiency and education of aircraft and regulatory requirements
  • Return to service, required inspection items, deferrals, airworthiness release authority as authorized
  • Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and inspections on assigned aircraft
  • Ensure Flight Control and Director of Maintenance is aware of aircraft maintenance status at all times
  • Responsible for ensuring the procedures within the GMM and AIM are followed
  • Monitor inspections, repairs, and modifications, performed on assigned aircraft 
  • Planning of scheduled and coordination of unscheduled maintenance on aircraft during normal and after business hours
  • Review Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins as they are released by the FAA, Manufacturer for applicability of assigned aircraft
  • Update and interface with Computerized Maintenance Tracking Programs on assigned aircraft to ensure accuracy and implementation in a timely manner
  • Maintain annual training level with the certificate for RVSM, GMM, and AIM compliance
  • Procure quotes for upcoming maintenance packages
  • Assemble and provide a comparison of these events to supervisor for review
  • Interface and communicate with the Client, vendors, and other internal departments while coordinating the requirements of maintaining the aircraft
  • Establish contracts, publications, and subscriptions as necessary ensuring all required manuals to be utilized for maintenance remain current
  • Prepare an annual maintenance budget for assigned aircraft
  • Review and approve invoices generated for assigned aircraft
  • Reconcile invoices with vendors and process to accounting department for payment
  • Accept special projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned
